Preschool 1 Group (ages 3-5)                                          Monday and Wednesday 9:00-11:00

Our Preschool 1 Group is a classroom-based program designed for children with difficulties in their play skills, language skills (receptive and/or expressive skills), sensory/emotional regulation skills, social skills, and more.  Our daily schedule may include: gym time, circle time, unstructured play times, structured play times, music time, snack time, special activity, and more.  This group will focus on increasing your child’s language skills (expressive and receptive), play skills, social communication skills, emotional regulation skills, classroom skills, and more with both peers and adults through the use of a variety of evidence-based practices.  Within this group, our therapists utilize the SCERTS® Model (by Prizant, Wetherby, Rubin, & Laurent) combined with elements from More Than Words and It Takes Two to Talk (The Hanen Center®), elements of Social Thinking® (by Michelle Garcia Winner), and more.  Children that would be a nice fit for this group are kids that may be language delayed, language disordered, have difficulties with their social communication skills, have difficulties with conversation, have difficulties with their play skills, and more.  This group has a classroom ratio of 1 speech pathologist, speech pathologist assistant, or speech pathologist graduate clinician to 3 kids.  Spaces limited to 4 children.  (29 sessions)

Home School Helpers & Homework Helpers

Both of these are wonderful programs that are 100% individualized for each family’s need.  Please see our website for more details on these programs.

All groups focus on the individualized skills of each child and the group as a whole: language (expressive and receptive skills), social communication, emotional regulation, sensory needs, play, social play, executive functioning, and more.  The details of the groups are not 100% planned until registration is complete – as everything is 100% tailored to the children enrolled in the group.  There is a $100 registration fee for each group (plus the tuition payment).  Tuition may be paid in three ways: 1) All at once on the first day of group; 2) Paid in 3 equal payments due in August, October, and November; OR 3) Paid weekly, due the first day of group each week (to pay weekly you must pay via check).

Participants within two day a week groups will be provided with a treatment plan and two progress reports throughout the semester.  Participants within a one day a week group will be provided with monthly daily notes at an additional cost of $200.

Mandatory group participation requirements:  If your child is NOT a current client of KidSpeak, LLC, they must participate within a Speech and Language Evaluation (2 hours - $450).  In addition, all children that participate within any group must participate within at least one individual session per week at an additional charge (this may be 30 – 45 – 60 minutes).
