I am a graduate of Texas A&M University where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications. In 2005, I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Masters of Science in Communication Disorders. I completed my Clinical Fellowship at the University of Texas at Dallas in the Early Services for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders program. It was there where I was given my first opportunity to develop and implement numerous Play, Social and Language Groups for children ages 2 to 5 years.
My professional emphasis has focused on children on the Autistic Spectrum and children at risk for an autism spectrum disorder
ranging from 18 months to school age. I have worked closely with families/caregivers, teachers, siblings and other professionals within a variety of settings for the purpose of creating the best language environment for each individual child.
In 2008 Laura and I opened Kidspeak, LLC. Together we have created an environment for all of our children where they can not only learn social communication, language skills, play skills and social skills but continue to grow within each specific area as they age. We continue to develop new family centered programs for all our families based on their individual wants and needs. Laura and I work together as a TEAM with each family in order to facilitate each child's progress within all environments.
Not many people can say they love going to work, but I truly love what I do. I love every moment of my job and can't wait to meet you and your family!!!!
