Gabrielle “Gabbi” Morgan, MS, CCC-SLP

Hello! My name is Gabbi. I grew up in Lubbock, Texas. I attended undergraduate school at the University of Texas at Austin. I began my first 3 years of college as an education major, before switching to speech-language pathology the summer before my senior year. I graduated with my Bachelors in Speech Language Pathology in May of 2013. I then moved to Dallas to attend graduate school at the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating with my Masters in Speech Language Pathology in August of 2015. That same month, I began working as a school-based SLP, and I have been doing that ever since. I have worked in several school districts, across all age groups, with a variety of needs. My primary experience (and passion) was been working with preschool and elementary aged children in the areas of language disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, and autism spectrum disorder. I love what I do and am looking forward to working you!

Bailey Wood, MS, CF-SLP

Hello all! I am so thrilled to be joining the KidSpeak team for my Clinical Fellowship, and I can’t wait to apply everything I’ve learned. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelors in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and a minor in Psychology in 2021, and recently with my Masters of Speech-Language Pathology in the summer of 2023! Working with children throughout graduate school was a joyful experience, and I love watching kids and families grow and learn. I had the privilege to work with a variety of age groups and diagnoses in school, and joining a private practice was a natural choice for me after the wonderful experiences I had. My favorite thing about being an SLP is seeing that everyone, no matter their diagnosis, their background, or their age, can always learn new ways to make progress and positively impact their life.

Outside of work I love to read and spend time with my parents, pets, and fiancé! I also love to try new things and am currently teaching myself to crochet!

Elizabeth Buchanan, MS, CCC-SLP

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, where I received my degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Prior to beginning my speech-language pathology career, I was a healthcare consultant for almost 7 years. In this time, I sharpened my written and verbal communications, managed a team of consultants and their clients, and built professional relationships with employees of clients nationwide. I later attended The University of Texas at Dallas to earn my Master of Science in Communication Disorders. My pediatric clinical experience throughout graduate school included a preschool language development program at Callier Richardson, two elementary schools within Garland ISD, and an outpatient clinic in Plano. I currently am a school-based SLP for an elementary school in Lewisville ISD. I absolutely love the relationships I am able to foster with my speech students. It is so rewarding to see the progress my speech friends make and the connections they are able to make with their peers. I manage a caseload of about 55-60 students, ranging in severity and disabilities. Typically, my students have speech impairments in the areas of articulation/phonology, fluency, receptive language, expressive language, and pragmatic language (including autism spectrum disorder). I have also had the opportunity to mentor other speech-language pathologists and supervise graduate clinicians’ externships. It is rewarding to be able to consult with colleagues, students, and parents regarding the growth on therapy goals, the needs of my students, and everyone’s involvement in the remedial process.

I am originally from the DFW area, so this is where I have always called home. I live with my 9-year-old Yorkie, Finley. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, listening to live music, reading thrillers, and traveling; however, my passion is working with kids!

Anjelica Vindua, MS, CCC-SLP

I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology in 2020 and a Master of Science in Communication Disorders in 2022. My journey in speech language pathology started in 2017 when my younger twin sisters were born at 1.5 lbs each at 27 weeks old. They were NICU warriors, and their life/story inspired me to pursue a career as a speech pathologist. Grad school provided me with the opportunities to work with in many settings, such as private practices, outpatient hospitals, and even telepractice. It is currently my 2nd year as a speech pathologist in Lewisville ISD and I provide speech therapy to students with various speech disorders within the area of articulation, phonology, fluency, expressive, and receptive language. Additionally, I provide speech therapy to students with other disabilities, including autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, and more. I enjoy working in this setting to see students grow and find a voice of their own to advocate for themselves and their passions. Collaborating with families, other SLPs, and interdisciplinary team members is really important to me in order to provide children with the tools, goals, and opportunities to succeed in every aspect of their life.

Additionally, I love to spend time with my boyfriend and our cat, Jenna. I also love to go on trips to Disneyland/Disney World, play video games, and obsess over anything Hello Kitty/Sanrio!

Cristen “Cris” Brophy, MS, CCC-SLP

I am very excited to be joining KidSpeak and working with our therapy friends and families.  I graduated with a masters degree in Communication Disorders from UT Dallas in December 2015, and I also attended UTD for undergrad, earning a bachelors in biology.  I have worked in elementary schools in Arlington ISD for 8 years as an SLP, and I love helping young people build their communication abilities and confidence.  I particularly enjoy therapy and research related to receptive and expressive language, literacy, social-pragmatics, stuttering, and executive function.

I am grateful to be a part of a field where I have the opportunity to share in the rewards of helping children and adults make gains in their abilities to relate to others and express themselves.   Working with the collaboration of other speech pathologists makes the work even more meaningful, and I am happy to be a part of the therapy team at KidSpeak.

In my personal time, I enjoy being around my family and friends, and my shepherd-mix dog.  I love listening to podcasts, music, and playing the piano.

My preference has always been working with children and helping them find their voice. I have practical experience in school-based and early-intervention pediatric settings as well as private practice. Meredith Anderson, MS, CCC-SLP

I received my undergraduate degree in 2011 from Texas Christian University (TCU) and my masters in 2013 from the University of Texas at Dallas. I worked as a full-time school-based SLP for 9 years before transitioning to part-time work with the schools and exploring some other career opportunities such as providing screenings with Shelton's speech clinic at various DFW private schools. Most of my experience is with preschool and elementary-aged students but I have had the pleasure of working with middle school, high school and even post-high school young adults and enjoy the unique aspects of working with such a wide variety of individuals. I am passionate about ensuring that everyone's voice is heard and that communication and therapy is functionally based so that skills can translate across all areas of life.

When I'm not working I can be found gardening with my husband, taking my rescue doodle for a walk or crafting the day away. I look forward to partnering with you and your child to help them reach their communication potential!
